Breast Enhancement Surgery

As the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) points out, cosmetic plastic surgeries have become all the rage, and Breast enlargement surgery is one of the most popular enveloping surgical procedure: round 2000 year about 212,500 women went through surgeries on augmentation of their breasts. Dr Lori Brown of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also stated that both the incidence and prevalence of breast-implant rupture were much higher than previously suspected.

National Cancer Institute (NCI), Boston University, Abt Associates, and the Food and Drug Administration, with Dr. Louise Brinton conducted a study based on medical records and death certificates of almost 8,000 women with breast implants and more than 2,000 women with other plastic surgeries. The study showed that women with implants were three times as likely to die from lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia as other plastic surgery patients.  

For you to know that FDA forbade silicone gel implants in 1992 as well as Health Insurance Coverage will refuse you in case of having silicone breast implant or saline-filled implants. It has become known that implants filled with saline will be based on higher rate of leaking and deflation than implants filled with silicone gel, but it will not come to benefits but to more frequent surgery to replace these implants.
